Job summary

Novartis UK in London is seeking a senior AI/automation change lead within the Advanced Quantitative Sciences Technology & AI function. You will co‑lead the rollout of AI and automation across the SCE, shaping processes, and driving adoption with stakeholders.

You’ll bridge engineers and business partners, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver measurable value while progressing from pilot to standard practice in a complex clinical data environment.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in a quantitative field; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 3 years leading technology-enabled change in life sciences or regulated industry.
• Proven record taking AI/automation or digital solutions from pilot to scaled adoption with measurable impact.
• Knowledge of clinical data flows, SDTM/ADaM, TFLs, QC, GxP/CSV.
• Strong coding in R and/or Python; understands CI/CD and version control; familiar with AI governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate AI/automation into production; own adoption roadmap across the value chain.
• Collaborate with AI & Data Engineering, SCE platform teams and IT to shape solutions.
• Influence stakeholders across statistics, QA, and governance forums to drive decisions.
• Redesign QC and review workflows to embed AI and automation into standard processes.
• Lead change plans: communications, training, champion networks, feedback loops.
