Job summary

AI Business Analyst role in Manchester focuses on identifying how Generative AI, Agentic AI and automation can transform business processes and decision-making. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to turn opportunities into practical AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements include 5+ years in Business Analysis/Transformation, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Power Apps or Azure AI Services.

Qualifications

5+ years in Business Analysis / Transformation is required.
Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Power Apps or Azure AI Services.
Experience with process mapping/BPMN, requirements gathering, user stories, change management and technology delivery.

Responsibilities

Identify and prioritise high-value AI and automation opportunities.
Map current processes and design future-state, AI-enabled workflows.
Translate business challenges into AI use cases, requirements, user stories and success measures.
Work with Engineers, Data, Security and business teams to develop safe, scalable AI solutions.
Support POCs, pilots and rollouts, including testing, acceptance criteria and business readiness.
Drive change, training and adoption of new AI-enabled ways of working.
Track benefits including productivity, cost savings, adoption and AI/token usage.
Develop reusable prompt libraries, AI workflows, templates and best-practice materials.
