Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd in Manchester is seeking an AI Business Analyst to help identify where Generative AI, Agentic AI and automation can improve processes, reduce manual effort and enable better decision-making, then work with business and technology teams to turn opportunities into practical AI solutions. This isn’t a traditional BA role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Analysis / Transformation with process improvement and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Power Apps, Azure AI Services) and Generative/Agentic AI.
• Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, user stories, change management and technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise high-value AI and automation opportunities.
• Map current processes and design future-state AI-enabled workflows.

• Work with Engineers, Data, Security and business teams to develop safe, scalable AI solutions.

• Track benefits including productivity, cost savings, adoption and AI/token usage.
• Develop reusable prompt libraries, AI workflows, templates and best-practice materials.

AI Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced AI Business Analyst to join a major organisation undergoing significant AI-led transformation.

This isn’t a traditional BA role. You will help identify where Generative AI, Agentic AI and automation can improve business processes, reduce manual effort and enable better decision-making, then work with business and technology teams to turn those opportunities into practical solutions.

The role

You will work across multiple business functions to:

• Identify and prioritise high-value AI and automation opportunities
• Map current processes and design future-state, AI-enabled workflows
• Translate business challenges into AI use cases, requirements, user stories and success measures
• Work closely with Engineers, Data, Security and business teams to develop safe, scalable AI solutions
• Support POCs, pilots and rollouts, including testing, acceptance criteria and business readiness
• Help drive change, training and adoption of new AI-enabled ways of working
• Track benefits including productivity, cost savings, adoption and AI/token usage
• Develop reusable prompt libraries, AI workflows, templates and best-practice materials

Experience

• You will ideally have 5+ years in Business Analysis / Transformation experience, with strong process improvement and stakeholder management skills
• You will have hands on experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Power Apps or Azure AI Services, alongside a good understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation and responsible AI
• Experience with process mapping/BPMN, requirements gathering, user stories, change management and technology delivery will be important, as will the ability to work confidently with senior business stakeholders and technical teams
