Job summary

Perplexity AI is seeking a recruiter to lead full-cycle technical hiring across engineering and research roles in the EMEA region. You will develop outbound pipelines, map talent across frontier labs and academia, and present Perplexity's mission and culture to candidates.

Collaborate with hiring managers to calibrate profiles, track pipeline data, and build AI-powered recruiting tools to streamline processes while adapting to shifting priorities and tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 4 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Proven sourcing-first track record filling hard roles through outbound recruiting and talent mapping.
• Strong technical literacy with ability to hold credible conversations with senior engineers.
• Eagerness to adopt AI tools, automate workflows, and experiment with AI-enabled recruiting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
• Curiosity, adaptability, iteration, and impact-oriented mindset aligned with Perplexity's ethos.

Responsibilities

• Conuct full-cycle engineering and research recruiting across EMEA.
• Build outbound pipelines via research, talent mapping across frontier labs and academia, referrals, AI-assisted automation, and creative outreach.
• Partner with hiring managers and engineers to calibrate profiles and hiring standards as teams evolve.
• Introduce candidates to Perplexity by presenting an authentic and compelling story about its mission, product, and culture.
• Track and analyze pipeline data to improve sourcing strategy.
• Build recruiting tools where off-the-shelf solutions fall short.
• Adapt to shifting priorities, hard-to-fill roles, new pillars, and compressed timelines.
