Job summary

Barrett Steel Limited is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered internal applications that enhance sales productivity, automate workflows, and improve decision-making. This is a hybrid role with two to three days split between the Bradford HQ and your UK home base.

You will build internal web and mobile apps using AI-assisted tools, automate CRM workflows, and develop AI assistants for customer analysis while ensuring data security and compliance across all tools and

• A track record in AI Solutions Engineering.
• The ability to translate business requirements into working AI-driven solutions, producing production quality output whilst ensuring data security and compliance standards are met.
• Experience in creating pipelines & version control.

Responsibilities

• Build internal web and mobile applications using AI-assisted development tools, validating any AI generated code.
• Automate repetitive sales workflows (CRM updates, proposal drafting, follow-ups, reporting).
• Develop AI-powered assistants for customer analysis.
• Integrate apps with CRM systems.
• Rapidly prototype tools and iterate based on feedback.
• Translate business requirements into working AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance standards are met.

All about the role

As the AI Solutions Engineer you will design and deploy AI-powered internal applications that enhance sales productivity, automate workflows, and improve decision-making. This is a hybrid role with a 2/3 day split between our Bradford HQ and your UK home base.

• Build internal web and mobile applications using AI-assisted development tools, validating any AI generated code
