Job summary

Amdaris in Bristol is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to shape, build and deploy AI-enabled solutions directly alongside clients. This hands-on, client-facing role blends architectural leadership with software engineering and AI delivery expertise.

Working across pre-sales and implementation, you will assess opportunities, design scalable architectures, lead delivery increments, and act as a trusted technical advisor to ensure solutions are viable, robust and capable of delivering measurable

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex software and cloud-based solutions.
• Hands-on software engineering and integration experience.
• Experience delivering AI/ML/Generative AI in production environments.
• Strong understanding of architecture, APIs, data engineering and cloud platforms.
• Experience leading client engagements from discovery through delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Autonomous delivery ownership in client-facing roles.
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end solution architectures aligned with requirements and standards.
• Own AI and software solution design, build, integration, testing and deployment.
• Build APIs, data pipelines and cloud-native AI applications.
• Evaluate and optimize ML/LLM technologies balancing performance and cost.
• Lead client discovery, requirements gathering and feasibility assessments.
• Own bids, proposals and proof-of-concepts to ensure deliverability and viability.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate challenges into solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of AI technologies and apply innovations to engagements.

We are seeking an AI Solutions Architect to shape, build and deploy AI-enabled solutions directly alongside our clients. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role that combines strategic architecture, software engineering and AI delivery expertise.

Working across both pre‑sales and implementation, you will assess opportunities, design scalable architectures, build working solutions and lead the first delivery increments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, ensuring solutions are commercially viable, technically robust and capable of delivering measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead end‑to‑end solution architectures that align with business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Take technical ownership of AI and software solutions through design, build, integration, testing and deployment.
• Build APIs, integrations, data pipelines and cloud‑native solutions that enable scalable AI applications.
• Evaluate, implement and optimise ML and LLM technologies, balancing performance, cost and risk.
• Lead client discovery, requirements gathering and feasibility assessments to identify high‑value AI opportunities. Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding clients on architecture decisions and responsible AI adoption.
• Own the technical elements of bids, proposals and proof‑of‑concepts, ensuring solutions are deliverable and commercially viable.
• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to translate business challenges into working solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging AI technologies and apply relevant innovations to client engagements

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex software and cloud‑based solutions.
• Strong hands‑on software engineering and integration experience.
• Experience delivering AI, machine learning or generative AI solutions in production environments.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, data engineering and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement ML/LLM technologies against business requirements.
• Experience leading client engagements from discovery through to delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership of technical delivery under broad direction.
• Previous experience as a Forward‑Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Delivery Lead or similar customer‑facing role.
• Experience building AI applications using modern LLM, agentic AI and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial experience.
• Cloud platform certifications (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Experience working in consulting, professional services or technology delivery environments.
