Job summary

Barrett Steel Limited is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered internal apps that boost sales productivity. This hybrid role splits time between our Bradford HQ and your UK home base, enabling rapid prototyping and secure, compliant AI delivery.

You will automate CRM-driven workflows, generate quotes, analyze customers and forecast sales, while translating business needs into production-quality AI solutions with robust version control.

Qualifications

Track record in AI solutions engineering and delivering production AI outputs.
Ability to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions with security/compliance.
Experience creating data pipelines and maintaining version control.

Responsibilities

Build internal web and mobile apps using AI-assisted development tools and validate AI-generated code.
Automate repetitive sales workflows and CRM updates.
Develop AI-powered assistants for quotes, customer analysis, email drafting and forecasting.
Integrate apps with CRM systems and rapidly prototype tools.
Translate business requirements into working AI-driven solutions with feedback loops.
Ensure data security and compliance across all projects.
