Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to shape security across an established business in Southampton. You will lead security activity on AI and emerging tech projects, advise stakeholders and drive secure ways of working.

Hybrid role requiring three days in the Southampton office weekly; you will develop risk governance, advise on compliance, and elevate security controls across the technology and business teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across risk, governance, compliance and security projects.
• Ability to translate security into practical business advice for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials or equivalent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead information security activity across business and technology projects, with emphasis on AI and emerging tech.
• Act as a trusted security adviser to help teams understand and manage security risks and requirements.
• Develop and improve security processes, controls and governance aligned with the security strategy.
