Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Consultant in Guildford for a senior advisory role. You will provide expert guidance across security architecture review, threat modelling, and AI risk assessment, mentoring junior staff and driving improvements across the team.

The role is hybrid with one day per week in the Guildford office, reporting to IT & Security Engineering. You will collaborate with project teams and senior stakeholders to embed security by design in

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an information security advisor or consultant.
• Proven threat modelling capability and ability to present outputs to non-technical audiences.
• Experience assessing security and risk in AI systems or AI-enabled products.
• Strong communication skills to translate risk for executives.
• Experience conducting security architecture reviews across applications, platforms or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Engage with change programs and project teams to embed security by design.
• Deliver security advisory services to stakeholders from project teams to senior leadership.
• Lead threat modelling exercises and translate findings into business risk statements.
• Conduct security architecture reviews against standards (NIST CSF, COBIT).
• Conduct AI risk assessments covering model integrity, bias and explainability.
• Collaborate with security teams to complete gates including pen tests and supplier reviews.
• Represent the team in governance forums and program boards.
