Job summary

Writer is hiring a Security Engineer in London to build the security foundations for AI systems powering top brands. You will integrate security into every line of code, collaborating with engineering to keep the platform trustworthy and scalable.

You will lead threat modeling, secure architectures, and automated controls, while embedding security into CI/CD and collaborating across teams to minimize risk and enable fast delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience in application security engineering.
• Experience securing large-scale production systems; startup experience a bonus.
• Excellent communication translating security concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of SAST/DAST, vulnerability management, DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling sessions for our AI platforms and architectures.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines with SAST/DAST scanning and secure coding standards.
• Conduct security code reviews for critical changes and build automated vulnerability detection.
• Design and champion secure patterns and libraries for developers to build securely by default.
• Lead security assessments and penetration testing of applications, AI services, and APIs.
