Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking an AI Engineer to develop and optimise AI agents and LLM-powered applications for our Security Operations Centre. You will design, build and operationalise AI workflows that integrate with security tooling to accelerate threat detection and response.

You’ll bring hands-on experience in production-ready LLM applications, agentic workflows and RAG solutions, with strong AI engineering expertise. Hybrid working with regular UK office presence is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM-powered applications in production environments.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
• Strong understanding of LLM concepts, vector databases, context windows, and tool calling.
• Experience implementing RAG pipelines end-to-end.
• Experience with parsing pipelines for document processing and ingestion.
• Knowledge of AI security risks and mitigations (OWASP LLM Top 10).
• Experience in enterprise governance frameworks and Python programming.

Responsibilities

• LLM Configuration: configure, evaluate and tune large language models for security use cases.
• Agent Development: design, build and maintain AI agents and agentic workflows with security tool integrations.
• Secure Configuration: implement safeguards against adversarial inputs and jailbreaks.
• System Architecture: design modular, scalable AI solutions with secure development principles.
• Governance: align with AI governance framework incl. data handling and audit logs.
• Cost Management: optimise LLM API usage and infrastructure costs with caching and guardrails.
• Collaboration: work with security engineers and SOC analysts to iterate on solutions.
• Documentation: produce clear technical docs for ongoing management.
