Job summary

Accenture Cheltenham is seeking an AI & ML Engineer (Cybersecurity) to design, build, and operationalise AI-powered SOC workflows. You will configure LLMs, develop AI agents, and ensure security‑conscious architecture while collaborating with security engineers and SOC analysts.

The role emphasizes governance, cost management, and scalable, maintainable AI solutions in a hybrid setup with occasional in‑office presence in Cheltenham.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM‑powered apps in production.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock or Vertex AI.
• Strong understanding of LLM concepts, vectors, prompts, and tool calling.
• Experience implementing RAG pipelines end‑to‑end.
• Familiarity with AI security risks (OWASP LLM Top 10) and mitigations.
• Experience within enterprise governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and REST APIs; ability to build tools for LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Configure, evaluate, and tune large language models for security use cases.
• Design, build, and maintain AI agents and workflows integrated with security tooling.
• Implement safeguards against adversarial inputs; ensure secure AI systems.
• Architect modular, scalable AI solutions with secure development principles.
• Follow AI governance, data handling, audit logging, and compliance guidelines.
• Manage and optimize LLM API usage and infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prototype and iterate on solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation for ongoing management.
