Job summary

Accenture in Cheltenham is seeking an AI & ML Engineer (Cybersecurity) to develop and operationalise AI-powered security workflows. You will configure LLMs, build agents, and integrate with SOAR, SIEM and EDR, while upholding secure development practices.

Role requires hands-on experience deploying AI agents in production, strong Python skills, and familiarity with enterprise AI platforms. Hybrid work involves 2 days in the Cheltenham office monthly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within AI/ML engineering.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM-powered apps in production.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock or Vertex AI).
• Knowledge of LLM concepts, vector databases, and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with parsing pipelines for document processing and ingestion.
• Awareness of AI security risks (OWASP LLM Top 10) and mitigation strategies.
• Experience in enterprise governance frameworks and REST API integration.
• Python proficiency and ability to build tools interacting with LLMs.

Responsibilities

• LLM Configuration: Configure, evaluate, and tune large language models for security use cases; including prompt engineering and tool calling.
• Agent Development: Design, build, and maintain AI agents and agentic workflows with platforms like Azure AI Foundry, integrating with SOAR, SIEM, and EDR.
• Secure Configuration: Implement safeguards against adversarial inputs and jailbreaks.
• System Architecture: Architect modular, secure AI solutions scalable for defense.
• Governance: Align with AI governance framework including data handling and audit logging.
• Cost Management: Monitor LLM API usage and optimize costs with caching and guardrails.
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to prototype and iterate solutions.
• Documentation: Produce clear technical docs for ongoing management.
