Job summary

Butler Rose - Compliance, Risk & Financial Crime is recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Engineer for an AI RegTech firm in City of London. The role sits at the crossroads of regulatory expertise, product & engineering, and AI-enabled compliance solutions.

You will translate regulation into structured frameworks embedded in software and advise clients on regulatory interpretation. You'll work closely with product teams, support regulatory change analysis, horizon scanning, and engage both

Qualifications

Experience in regulatory compliance within financial services.
Strong regulatory change, horizon scanning or regulatory implementation experience.
Confident communicator able to engage technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Extracting regulatory obligations and structuring them into clear frameworks.
Conducting regulatory gap analysis and compliance assessments.
Mapping regulatory requirements to policies, controls and risk frameworks.
Supporting horizon scanning and regulatory change interpretation.
Acting as a regulatory “human-in-the-loop” alongside product and engineering teams.
Supporting client discussions, demonstrations and solution design.
