Job summary

NTT DATA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior QE SDET Engineer to lead the expansion of our quality engineering assets and services. This hands-on role spans the full SDLC, not just test automation, and requires clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

You will mentor teams in AI-driven testing, implement and evolve automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Jest, PyTest), work with Langchain and OpenAI tools, and drive shift-left practices with robust quality metrics across

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior QE SDET Engineer or Senior Developer.
• Breadth of experience across multiple tech-stacks including JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with AI tooling such as OpenAI, Langchain, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on product building experience across the full SDLC, not limited to automation.
• Strong automation across frameworks (JUnit, Jest, PyTest, NUnit, Selenium, Cypress, WebDriver) and CI/CD.
• Mentoring and presenting to senior stakeholders including C-suite.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and containerization (Docker/AWS).
• Knowledge of QA metrics, performance testing (Gatling/JMeter), and security/code quality tools (SonarQube, OWASP).

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion of the quality engineering portfolio and services.
• Drive Shift-Left testing and early validation across the SDLC.
• Mentor and train the team on the latest testing tools and methodologies.
• Capture and track quality metrics to quantify value created.
