Job summary

NTT DATA UK is seeking an experienced QE AI Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain QE solutions across the SDLC, developing reusable assets and automation frameworks while embedding quality early in development.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering, SDET, Quality Engineering, or test automation roles.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions.
• Experience delivering software across the full SDLC, not limited to test execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain quality engineering solutions across the SDLC
• Contribute to development of reusable QE assets, accelerators, and automation frameworks
• Apply shift-left practices to embed quality earlier in the development lifecycle
• Build and support automation across web, API, and non-functional testing
• Contribute to AI-enabled QE use cases: test case generation, data prep/augmentation, defect analysis, quality reporting, productivity tooling
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support AI QE solutions
• Evaluate effectiveness of automation and AI-enabled solutions, and recommend improvements
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and help resolve delivery challenges
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and engineers to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Participate in reviews of code, design, and test solutions
• Support and mentor team members in modern QE and AI practices
