Job summary

Accenture UK is seeking an Automation Test Engineer - AI to lead AI-powered quality initiatives across the SDLC in major UK cities. The role focuses on embedding AI-first testing, building scalable automation in Java or Python, and leveraging cloud environments (AWS/GCP) for modernised testing lifecycles.

You will work in a client-facing capacity with a focus on delivering rapid, data-driven quality insights and autonomous testing capabilities while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Technical Testing.
• Experience in shifting left QA with AI-assisted analysis.
• Strong manual and exploratory testing skills.
• Proficient in Java or Python and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing (Postman or frameworks).
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Embed Shift Left and AI-assisted quality practices across requirements and design.
• Conduct intelligent exploratory testing with AI insights.
• Develop modular automation using OOP and AI augmentation (Java/Python).
• Operate in AWS or GCP cloud environments for test infra.
• Drive AI in testing and provide data-driven quality insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
