Note: This is a London-based role. You must already be located in the United Kingdom with work authorization in the UK to qualify. We are looking for candidates who speak German.

As part of the Applied AI team at DataRobot, you will collaborate with customers to bring expertise in data science, application development, and the DataRobot platform, helping them achieve their AI objectives across various industries and stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-sales:
  • Represent the DataRobot product to diverse customer personas, from data scientists to C-level executives.
  • Lead product demonstrations, align DataRobot with customer goals, lead Proof Of Value processes, and quantify business impact.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business value messages to influence customers.
Post-sales:
  • Act as a subject matter expert, leading implementation, advising on use case viability, and developing Success Plans.
  • Ensure customer success by achieving Value Realization Indicators, leading to renewals and expansion.
  • Serve as a trusted AI advisor, helping customers solve complex data science problems throughout the lifecycle.
General:
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally to Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
  • Participate in conferences and create marketing content.
Key Relationships:
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and other Applied AI teams.
  • Provide field feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Experience with consultative sales in data/analytics.
  • Experience dealing with complex organizations.
  • Hands-on experience building AI models.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation tools.
  • Ability to collaborate using Python or R.
  • Experience aligning AI solutions with business outcomes.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in pre-sales or data science roles, with a motivation to learn Data Science; candidates with 2+ years in pre-sales data science considered.
  • 4+ years in customer-facing roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
