Job summary

Monzo is seeking a curious, adaptive FP&A Data & Analytics Manager focused on data analysis and AI. You will report to the Group Performance and Analytics Lead in the FP&A team and collaborate with Finance Data.

You’ll translate FP&A and commercial needs, prototype reporting and automation, and drive improvements in financial processes. Strong SQL and Python, Looker, and AI experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with generative AI to speed analysis.
• Experience with Looker for data visualization; Anaplan a plus.
• Financial modelling, P&L management and forecasting capabilities.
• Commercial mindset and ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
• Automation of reporting and data pipelines via code.
• Collaborative skills and stakeholder management across levels.

Responsibilities

• Data Translation & Infrastructure: translate FP&A/commercial requirements, prototype and build downstream reporting/automation with data pipelines and shared assets.
• Insights & Reporting: prepare management information, deliver actionable insights, and build data solutions for business partners.
• Automation & Process Improvement: automate financial reporting processes and streamline workflows across Monzo.
• Stakeholder Management: work independently, build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
