Job summary

Parser is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer in London. You will build AI-powered products alongside investment professionals, spanning frontend, backend, data, cloud, and AI components.

You will work across production-grade systems with RAG, embeddings, and guardrails, solving high-stakes financial challenges. You will operate across investment, portfolio management, risk, finance, and legal domains, translating complex business problems into durable software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• Proficient in Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) with containerisation and CI/CD.
• Full-stack capabilities in Python, C#, TypeScript/React and SQL.
• Proven AI/LLM experience, including RAG, embeddings and guardrails.
• Experience with enterprise data architectures and distributed teams.
• Forward-deployed/solutions-engineering or founding-engineer background.
• Experience integrating financial data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ).

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with investment, portfolio, risk, and corporate teams to translate problems into software.
• Lead rapid discovery and prototyping with hands-on coding and AI-assisted development.
• Own end-to-end production slices including data ingests, backend, AI orchestration, and frontend.
• Design scalable AI features, including RAG across structured/unstructured data.
• Build intuitive interfaces for investment professionals with complex data visuals.
• Deploy workloads across Kubernetes and Azure PaaS with IaC and CI/CD.
• Uphold enterprise security, data governance, and audit standards.
