Job summary

Accenture Song is hiring a Customer Data Strategy Consultant to lead data initiatives across London or Manchester. You will shape how client data is collected, unified, and activated across online and offline channels, driving revenue growth and improved retention.

You will advise on governance, privacy, and AI-enabled engagement, guiding cloud-native transformations and end-to-end CDP implementations with senior stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer data strategy, data architecture, product management, or related consulting discipline.
• Deep understanding of the modern customer data ecosystem including CDPs (Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, Treasure Data, mParticle) and data warehousing, MDM, CRM.
• Familiarity with segmentation, propensity modelling, next-best-action, attribution, and journey analytics.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and data architectures like medallion, data mesh, real-time streaming.
• Proven ability to build business cases, roadmaps, and communicate value to senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of AI applications in customer data strategy from commercial perspective.
• Awareness of AI in customer engagement (personalisation, GenAI content, conversational AI).
• Experience leading CDP implementations or data migrations end-to-end preferred.
• Knowledge of GDPR, ePrivacy, cookieless future; data governance and privacy.
• Bachelor/Master degree in field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect data strategies to business outcomes like revenue, retention, and lifetime value.
• Advise on data governance, consent, and privacy frameworks in regulated environments.
• Turn client challenges into actionable roadmaps and milestones with measurable value.
• Lead design and implementation of CDPs, MDMs, and CRM ecosystems.
• Guide legacy systems toward cloud-native, event-driven architectures.
• Evaluate and choose technology stacks across Martech, Adtech, and data platforms.
• Architect AI-ready, real-time, governed data foundations.
• Advise on AI for personalised engagement and GenAI-powered content.
• Define data product roadmaps, KPIs, and iterative delivery.
• Lead workstreams end-to-end from discovery to handover.
• Collaborate across business and technical teams to translate requirements into data needs.
• Operate in agile environments and manage stakeholders from data engineers to C-suite.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior clients and facilitate workshops.
• Contribute to proposals and client development.
