Job summary

Savanta is seeking an experienced engineering team lead to guide a cross-functional agile team building an AI platform for market research. The role is based in London with onsite work 1-3 days per week, leading a squad of up to 4 engineers across Python/FastAPI and React/TypeScript.

You will drive the product roadmap, champion secure LLM practices, and collaborate with a product manager, UX, and QA to deliver high-quality software while exploring Azure, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading agile AI/LLM powered products.
• Strong Python and modern async web frameworks experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered apps, multi-provider integration, and orchestration.
• Strong RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and document store (MongoDB) experience; caching (Redis).
• Experience with CI quality gates and test-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for Virtual Personas and deliver the product roadmap.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of up to 4 engineers.
• Drive full-stack development across Python/FastAPI and React/TypeScript.
• Advocate for secure and responsible use of LLMs and data handling.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and translate to engineering.
