Job summary

Savanta in London is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to shape production AI features across products and platforms. You will work with C#/.NET, Azure and modern LLM tooling to build scalable, production‑grade applications that deliver real user impact and business value.

You will mentor engineers, raise engineering standards, and help define AI delivery practices across the tech team, while shipping iterative, measurable solutions with a strong bias toward quality, security and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build production applications and services with C#/.NET.
• Experience delivering cloud-based applications in Azure.
• Hands-on experience implementing LLM-powered applications in production.
• Ability to design prompt orchestration and evaluation for AI systems.
• Familiarity with OpenAI-compatible APIs and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Make engineering calls on prompt design, tool use and guardrails.
• Design LLM-powered systems with grounding techniques (RAG, embeddings).
• Define and run LLM evaluations for factuality, safety and task success.
• Ship AI features such as chat, summarisation, extraction and classification.
