Job summary

Savanta is seeking an experienced engineering team lead in London to guide an agile team building an AI-driven market research platform. The role requires hands-on leadership, mentoring, and delivering the product roadmap with a cross-functional team including product managers, UX, and QA.

You will work on a cloud-first stack (Azure, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and a multi-provider LLM setup, while championing secure, scalable architectures and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead agile rapid release cycles for AI products.
• Hands-on experience with Python and modern async web frameworks.
• Experience building LLM-powered apps, including multi-provider integration.
• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and GitHub Copilot/LLM aids.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving product.
• Delivery-minded with emphasis on user experience and CI quality gates.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for Virtual Personas and product roadmap.
• Deliver the product roadmap and manage a multi-skill team.
• Full stack work across Python services and React front ends.
• Embed automated testing and CI quality gates.
• Mentor engineers and conduct regular 1:1s.
• Engage with customers to understand needs.
• Ensure scalable, cost-effective architecture and security.
