Job summary

Arm is building a central AI Platform to enable safe, scalable AI use across engineering teams. You will contribute to understanding use cases, prototype solutions, and own Arm’s OpenAI toolset, ensuring safe adoption while delivering an excellent engineering experience.

You will participate in production support and an on‑call rota for high‑impact incident response, contributing to three focus areas: AI use-case understanding, evaluation & prototyping, and OpenAI tooling ownership in a hybrid

Qualifications

Strong software engineering experience with prototypes and integrations.
Knowledge of AI tooling and vendor landscape with discernment for core trends.
Hands-on experience with Codex and OpenAI APIs.
Good understanding of AI safety, governance, privacy and security in an enterprise context.

Responsibilities

Understand AI use cases and emerging tech; translate trends into practical AI Platform capabilities and roadmap priorities.
Evaluate, prototype and demonstrate safe patterns; develop demos and reference implementations.
Own Arm’s OpenAI toolset, including Codex, ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs and the AI Gateway; manage releases and secure configurations.
