Job summary

Edenred PayTech in London/Swindon is seeking an AI Champion to accelerate safe, effective adoption of AI across Platforms. You will identify high-impact use cases, enable engineering teams, and integrate AI into workflows to improve speed, quality, and reliability while meeting regulatory standards.

You will partner with Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Cloud/Infra, Security, Data, and Delivery to build guardrails and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or developer experience.
• Leads AI initiatives from pilot to production with measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS and GDPR within PayTech and financial services.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across teams.
• Data-driven with KPIs, telemetry, and cost modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver product solutions aligned to business needs.
• Translate objectives into functional AI-enabled capabilities.
• Embed security, compliance, scalability, and resilience into designs.
• Develop design standards, guidelines, and component libraries.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, and QA.
• Create user journeys, process flows, and personas.
• Prioritise design activities based on value and feasibility.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback and data insights.
• Champion design best practices across products.
• Monitor industry trends and technology developments.
• Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and ideation sessions.
• Manage shared design assets for efficient delivery.
