Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University invites applications for a Technical Officer AI in Manufacturing. Based at the PrintCity facilities, you will support the AI in manufacturing initiatives, helping research, teaching and industrial partners across the university.

You will operate and maintain specialist equipment, apply AI to 3D scanning and product development, train users and contribute to validation of AI solutions with the project team.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a range of lab/workshop equipment safely and to a high standard.
• Experience in CAD, 3D printing and 3D scanning.
• Proficiency in programming languages and API development.
