Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Validation Engineer to own end-to-end validation across Product, Engineering, and Operations for a UK AI infra owner-operator converting sites into modern data centers. You will design automated preflight suites and performance benchmarks for multi-node GPU clusters, validating platform reliability and deployments before enterprise use.

• Proven experience validating multi-node distributed systems.
• Expert in Python tooling with zero-dependency requirements.
• Experience integrating validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Evidence-based release readiness mindset with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design Python-based preflight tooling for multi-node GPUs.
• Develop IaC to provision, configure and test bare-metal and containerised environments.
• Create adaptive test orchestration to detect environment drift.
• Benchmark cluster storage and network throughput at scale.
• Integrate validation into CI/CD and lead root-cause analysis.
