Job summary

Era4 seeks an AI Infrastructure Validation Engineer to design, build, and orchestrate automated preflight validation suites for bare-metal, Kubernetes, and multi-node GPU clusters in UK data-centre environments.

You will ensure every platform release, infrastructure change or hardware deployment is tested and production-ready before reaching customers, joining a mission-led AI business redefining infrastructure and impact for enterprises.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python for building zero-dependency verification tools and automation.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and enterprise-scale, multi-node distributed systems.
• Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code for provisioning and testing complex bare-metal and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build zero-dependency Python-based preflight validation tools for multi-node systems.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code to provision, test and teardown compute environments.
• Create intelligent test orchestration to detect environment drifts and platform changes.
• Automate cluster benchmarking and storage performance tests to validate throughput.
• Validate server-node topology, PCIe speeds, memory status, and firmware performance via BMC/IPMI/Redfish interfaces.
• Integrate validation suites into CI/CD pipelines and maintain observability for hardware metrics.
