Job summary

Preply is seeking a senior IT leader to own and evolve our global IT footprint. You will define the vision and tooling strategy, while remaining hands-on with scripting, automation and identity systems.

You’ll work with C-level stakeholders to drive efficiency, cost control, and exceptional employee experience. You’ll lead AI-first, automate-first operations, build governance for security and compliance, and partner with Finance on FinOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading and growing IT teams or functions in a fast-scaling tech company.
• Strong architect and operator: set strategy and stay hands-on with scripting, automation, and identity systems.
• Deep experience in international fleet management and endpoint management (e.g., Jamf, Okta).
• Proven ability to manage software spend (FinOps) and forecast costs with Finance.
• Data-driven leadership with dashboards driving decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve a multi-quarter IT roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Lead AI-native operations: automation, provisioning, access, and asset reconciliation.
• Grow a lean IT team into a senior, process-driven function.
• Own international fleet lifecycle and identity/endpoint management.
• Partner with Security to govern identity, device compliance and SOX/SOC2 controls.
• Manage IT spend, contracts, renewals and vendor rationalization.
• Build dashboards reporting IT health, spend and initiatives.
