StarCompliance in Leeds seeks an Engineering Team Lead to own the technical direction and end-to-end delivery of key components within the StarCompliance Enterprise SaaS platform. You will lead design decisions, mentor engineers, and guide AI-assisted and agentic development across the software lifecycle.

You will manage delivery, modernisation, and technical debt, ensuring security, reliability, and production readiness while collaborating with Platform, Architecture, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in regulated SaaS or financial-services tech.
• Strong leadership and delivery accountability.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership and set the architectural direction for the team.
• Lead design decisions and ensure alignment with StarCompliance standards.
• Drive modernisation, reduce technical debt, and improve delivery throughput.
• Ensure scalability, security, resilience, performance, and maintainability of services.
• Own end-to-end delivery and health of the team’s products and services.
