Job summary

Leeds Building Society is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and embed AI capabilities that solve real business problems in a hands-on, enterprise environment. You will collaborate with business teams, architects, security, risk and data colleagues to drive PoC to scalable, well-governed solutions.

The role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office, plus an annual bonus of up to 12%, matched pension contributions up to 10%, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays and a range of employee

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft AI tools including Foundry and Copilot.
• Strong Python development skills.

Job description

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing, building, maintaining and supporting AI solutions end to end in an enterprise environment
• Experience with Microsoft AI tools, including Foundry and Copilot
• Strong technical capability in Python
• Awareness of responsible AI, AI risk management, data protection, UK GDPR, security and compliance principles
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to turn business challenges into practical AI or automation solutions
• Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and explaining complex ideas clearly and collaboratively
• Experience with cloud-based AI, analytics or engineering platforms; Databricks would be beneficial
