Job summary

Searchability seeks an experienced AI Engineer to join a major enterprise AI transformation programme, focusing on AI Agents, RAG and GenAI. You’ll design and build agentic AI solutions, and develop APIs in a complex enterprise environment.

The role involves working with large language models, prompt engineering, and production-grade Python/SQL tooling to deliver scalable AI outcomes. This is a 3-month initial contract with hybrid work patterns in Manchester or Leeds, paying £750-£800 per day

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building AI Agents / agentic AI solutions.
• Strong track record with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and large language models.
• Excellent prompt writing and prompt engineering skills.
• Experience developing, integrating and testing APIs.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and developing AI Agents and agentic AI solutions.
• Building and enhancing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Writing, developing and optimising prompts for LLM applications.
• Developing and testing APIs to integrate AI services and enterprise systems.
• Building AI engineering solutions using Python and SQL.
• Testing and evaluating AI/LLM outputs for quality, accuracy and reliability.
• Integrating AI solutions with enterprise data, platforms and applications.
• Developing scalable, production-ready AI solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
