Job summary

Searchability seeks an experienced AI Engineer to join a major enterprise AI transformation programme, focusing on AI Agents, RAG and GenAI. You’ll design and build agentic AI solutions, and develop APIs in a complex enterprise environment.

The role involves working with large language models, prompt engineering, and production-grade Python/SQL tooling to deliver scalable AI outcomes. This is a 3-month initial contract with hybrid work patterns in Manchester or Leeds, paying £750-£800 per day

• Strong track record with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and large language models.
• Excellent prompt writing and prompt engineering skills.
• Experience developing, integrating and testing APIs.

We're looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a major enterprise AI transformation programme, working through a leading Managed Service Provider.

This is an initial 3-month contract with likely extensions, offering £750-£800 per day Inside IR35 and requiring 2 days per week on-site in Manchester or Leeds.

You'll be working within a complex, enterprise-scale environment, designing and building AI solutions using AI Agents, Large Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Designing, building and developing AI Agents and agentic AI solutions

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Strong experience building AI Agents / agentic AI solutions
• Strong commercial RAG and LLM experience
• Excellent prompt writing and prompt engineering skills
• Experience developing, integrating and testing APIs
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience delivering AI solutions within large-scale enterprise environments
• Experience taking AI/LLM solutions beyond proof-of-concept and into production would be beneficial
