Job summary

Starwood Capital Group is seeking an Associate to join its global Sustainability team in London. The role involves managing sustainability initiatives across real estate portfolios worldwide, collaborating with acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, and compliance.

You will own workstreams, drive data analytics, implement AI-enabled processes, and support due diligence, reporting and investor communications.

Qualifications

4+ years in sustainability/related role with global exposure.
Bachelor's degree with strong academic record.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to leverage AI tools to improve research and workflow.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Self-starter with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Manage sustainability data collection, validation and analysis across the global portfolio.
Develop and improve dashboards, reporting tools, and processes with AI/automation.
Oversee GRESB and PRI participation.
Draft investor-facing materials and sustainability reports.
Engage with investors and internal stakeholders to explain sustainability approach.
