GlobalLogic seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to lead AI-native testing strategies across large financial services projects. You will design and implement automated test generation, coverage analysis, and reliability practices, coaching squads to raise testing maturity and accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong quality engineering background with testing strategies across unit, integration, contract and end-to-end.
• Hands-on with Claude Code or equivalent agentic CLI tooling for test automation and subagents.
• Experience with modern test frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, pytest) and AI tooling integration.
• Understanding AI-native SDLC practices and testing where code is AI-generated.
• Experience with test architecture at scale and fast feedback loops.

Responsibilities

• Assess the engineering team's current testing maturity during discovery, identify coverage gaps and bottlenecks.
• Design and implement AI-native testing strategies to generate test cases and analyze coverage.
• Build Claude Code skills and subagents for automated test generation and data management.
• Define quality gates within AI-native SDLC for fast, automated feedback.
• Embed testing best practices through pairing, code reviews and demonstrations.
• Create reusable testing patterns and templates for use across teams.
• Ensure AI-generated code meets quality standards and testing keeps pace with delivery.
