Job summary

Lendable is hiring a Head of Quality to own engineering quality across the organisation. You will lead QA initiatives, manage a small team of Quality Engineers, and drive AI-enhanced testing across backend and frontend systems.

The role combines hands-on coding with strategic quality governance, focusing on SLOs, incident management, and scalable testing practices in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years in quality related roles.
• Run a number of QA initiatives across an organisation to improve the quality output across engineering teams.
• Proven senior stakeholder management.
• Hands-on testing of backends and frontends across the stack, from functional to performance and accessibility.
• Line managed a small team of Quality Engineers.
• Shipped AI tooling into a quality process to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering quality of the organisation.
• Define and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for services.
• Lead incident follow-ups and ensure resolutions.
• Be hands-on, contributing code to test frameworks and CI pipelines.
• Hire, deploy, and manage Quality Engineers across teams.
• Advocate a quality mindset and embed quality into all SDLC phases.
• Develop AI-driven quality tooling and processes to raise testing efficiency.
