The Genius Group in Manchester is seeking an experienced SEO leader to own organic visibility across its portfolio of brands. You will drive a technical and content SEO programme that aligns with AI answer engines, ensure accurate entity data, and build a scalable framework for measuring impact beyond rankings.

You will collaborate with in-house marketing, content, design and development teams, manage a greenfield AEO/GEO agenda, and deliver measurable uplift in qualified leads while maintaining

Formación

• 5+ years across multiple brands growing organic performance.
• Hands-on with crawling tools (Screaming Frog / Sitebulb) and Google Search Console.
• Experience implementing structured data and schema markup.
• Confident with major SEO platforms (Ahrefs, Semrush) and GA4.
• Genuine understanding of AI answer engines and citation tracking.
• Evidence of active experimentation in AI search and data-driven insights.
• Strong analytical skills and clear written communication.
• Experience with Python/SQL for log analysis or reporting.
• Digital PR or outreach experience; regulated sector knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Technical SEO: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, page performance.
• Content and on-page: keyword/entity strategy, briefs, collaboration with Content/UX/Performance teams.
• AEO/GEO: visibility inside AI answer engines and consistent brand data across sources.
• Measurement: build framework to track AI search impact and lead quality.
• Group and compliance: operate across brands, ensure regulatory clarity and compliant content.
