Capital One is seeking an Incident and Problem Manager to join our UK Technology Operations Centre in Nottingham. The role focuses on coordinating major and critical incidents, driving root cause analyses, and leveraging AI to reduce toil and add value.

The TOC operates 24/7 with on-call coverage and hybrid working from the Nottingham Head Office. You will lead investigations, drive communications, coordinate cross-functional teams, and advance resiliency through reliability initiatives and Game

Qualifications

• Experience leading major incidents and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements using AI/automation.

Responsibilities

• Direct investigations into major incidents by coordinating technical resources on a 24x7x365 basis.
• Ensure incident progress is tracked and communicated to the wider organisation.
• Lead virtual and office-based teams to restore normal service quickly with minimal disruption.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis using structured methodologies and define preventive actions.
• Drive incident readiness and game days to improve resiliency and response.
• Lead process improvements and automation of repetitive incident tasks.
• Provide on-call coverage for Incident Management on rotation.
