Job summary

Abacus Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a DevOps focus to extend and scale our AI applications. This remote role balances building new features with maintaining live systems, in a fast-moving startup environment where ownership and initiative are valued.

You will own DevOps on Google Cloud Platform, scale usage, and help shape technical direction while collaborating with a small, high-trust team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong Python skills with Django or Flask.
• Experience scaling AI applications in production.
• DevOps ownership on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Startup/early-stage experience and resourcefulness.
• Professional English proficiency.
• Comfort with ambiguity and taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the full stack (frontend + backend) and propose new ideas.
• Own DevOps for AI applications on Google Cloud Platform as usage grows.
• Balance new development with ongoing maintenance and prioritization.
• Help shape technical direction and challenge assumptions.
• Work independently with ownership from day one.
• Collaborate closely with a small, high-trust team that moves fast.
