Ideal candidates will handle API design, code translation between languages, and cross-cutting concerns such as security, performance, and maintainability while collaborating across unfamiliar codebases and repositories.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience building and shipping production full‑stack applications.
• Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend engineering.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Ability to work effectively inside unfamiliar repositories and debug efficiently.
• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify frontend and backend application components.
• Build APIs, services, and data models that support them.
• Trace requests and data through complete application workflows.
• Review and translate code across languages and technologies.
• Document technical decisions, tradeoffs, and implementation details.
• Identify bugs, architectural weaknesses, and optimization opportunities.
• Refactor existing code while preserving expected behavior.
• Ensure security, performance, and maintainability of systems.
