Job summary

Fruition Group in Leeds invites a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a technology consultancy delivering complex software projects for a range of clients. You will design, build and operate scalable backend services and APIs, while exploring AI-enabled capabilities.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a mix of on-site and remote work, and you’ll engage across product, data and platform teams to create robust, production-grade software. Competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Strong software engineering experience building and maintaining production systems.
Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance considerations.
Experience developing backend services and APIs in modern tech stacks.
Exposure to, or strong interest in, AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering workflows (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain scalable applications, backend services and APIs.
Work across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery to delivery and production.
Develop robust, production-ready solutions using modern engineering practices.
Work across client environments, technologies and challenges.
Apply clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and other practices.
Build and integrate AI-enabled features, including LLM-powered services and RAG workflows.
