Job summary

Biller Genie in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is seeking an AI-enabled Software Architect to own the technical vision for our fintech platform and the agentic engineering system our teams use to build it. You will set the patterns, standards, and guardrails that let engineers and agents deliver at pace without compromising quality, security, or scalability.

Working closely with Product, Engineering Leadership, and our SDET teams, you will stay close to the code, producing the specs, reference

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software engineering with architecture leadership.
• Deep expertise in .NET/C# and modern web tech, API design.
• Experience designing cloud-native, scalable systems (Azure preferred).
• Hands-on AI-driven development with agent-based tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architectural roadmap and major designs.
• Design secure, scalable fintech architectures and API standards.
• Own AI-enabled developer experience including skills, agents, and MCP servers.
• Create architecture decision records and codebase patterns for reliability.
• Collaborate with Product and SDET on testing strategies and release criteria.
