Job summary

Monta, a leader in EV charging platforms, seeks a Director of Finance in the UK to own group financial control end to end. You will report to the UK CFO and be a key member of the leadership team, with responsibilities across close, consolidation, payroll, AR/AP, and treasury across multiple entities and currencies.

The role requires a qualified accountant with post-qualification leadership experience, SaaS/fintech exposure, and a track record of ERP migrations and strategic finance projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience and team management.
• Experience managing diverse teams across geographies.
• Ability to contribute to strategic finance projects beyond the close.
• Experience with AI adoption in finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own group month-end close process and improve predictability.
• Sign-off on accounting treatment across entities (VAT, revenue).
• Own group consolidation and inter-company eliminations across currencies.
• Oversee payroll, AR and AP management; bank reconciliation and cash visibility.
• Set posting controls and COA policy across the group.
• Lead finance team, drive automation, and partner with FP&A.
