Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a hands-on Developer Engagement Lead within its MSDE group to scale adoption of AI coding tools across a global engineering community. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, developer experience, and AI tool adoption, ensuring safe, effective use in real workflows.

The role involves collaborating with engineering teams, risk partners and technology leaders to enable practical, responsible AI tooling adoption in a regulated enterprise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software developer experience in modern workflows (PRs, CI/CD, tooling).
• Experience evaluating where AI tools add value and where risk is present.
• Familiarity with enterprise SDLC or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage developers through demos, workshops, and enablement sessions to drive adoption of AI coding tools.
• Develop guidance for responsible, productive use of AI coding tools and distinguish where automation adds value.
• Represent the developer perspective in discussions with platform, tooling, risk, training, and leadership teams.
• Create enablement content such as guides, FAQs, playbooks, and workshop materials for engineers and stakeholders.
• Shape the adoption strategy with rollout planning, usage analysis, and continuous improvement.
