Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Platform Engineering Leader to shape and scale the developer tooling ecosystem used across a global organization. You will guide Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related SDLC platforms, ensuring reliability and security for engineers at enterprise scale.

In this VP-level role, you will partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams, drive modernization, and foster AI-powered improvements across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience building or evolving large-scale developer platforms and CI/CD systems.
• Hands-on Java experience, esp. Jenkins plugin development or extending CI/CD tooling.
• Strong Python for infrastructure management, automation, or orchestration.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design, and evolution of enterprise developer tooling and CI/CD platforms globally.
• Improve reliability, scale, usability, and operational maturity of systems across self-hosted and SaaS.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify friction, set direction, and deliver platform improvements.
• Drive adoption of modern automation and AI-enabled workflows across software delivery and platform operations.
• Provide clarity and momentum in evolving environments with changing priorities.
• Influence standards and engineering practices that boost developer productivity at scale.
