Job summary

Moody's Analytics is seeking a Contract Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of complex sales agreements from drafting through execution in the Manchester area. You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Billing to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate contract processing.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in contract roles, skilled negotiation, and strong attention to detail, with fluency in French and comfort with AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of contract-related experience in procurement, finance, legal, sales support, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of contract drafting, negotiation, and execution practices.
• Attention to detail in analyzing pricing structures and contract terms.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across Sales, Legal, Finance, Billing, and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and risk identification.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM and contract management systems experience.
• Experience with AI tools to streamline workflows and awareness of AI risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle to support business growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence across a dedicated sales portfolio.
• End-to-end contract process for new business and renewal opportunities; support sales teams through strategy, drafting, negotiation, and execution.
• Participate in pipeline reviews to advise on commercial approaches, identify contractual risks, and accelerate deal closure.
• Analyze customer data, licensing, pricing, and terms to support cross-selling, renewals, and revenue growth.
• Independently draft and negotiate Tier 1 sales agreements per internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer and transaction data across CRM and related platforms.
• Review executed contracts for completeness and ensure compliance and proper documentation for orders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Billing, and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement modifications.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
