Job summary

OLIVER, part of The Brandtech Group, seeks an Assistant Communications Delivery Manager in Sheffield to oversee the technical execution of customer communications across email, print, digital messaging and PDF channels. You’ll convert content into clear briefs, manage testing cycles and ensure quality before live deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a delivery-focused role in Operations, Change Management, Marketing, CRM or Digital
• Strong channel knowledge across owned communications (email, print, digital) and control processes
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to proofread specifications, proofs, test outputs and live communications
• Technical aptitude to understand communications-related IT systems and data, including Jira and Confluence
• Strong project management and organisational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Clear communication and stakeholder management across delivery chain
• Risk and governance awareness with governance, controls and audit-trail practices
• Continuous-improvement mindset to simplify delivery and reduce risk
• Critical thinking to investigate issues and implement practical resolutions
• Collaborative working within multidisciplinary squads and across teams
• Proficiency with Gen AI tools to enhance output quality and efficiency
• Experience building AI workflows to improve day-to-day efficiency
• Agentic approach to delivery planning and problem-solving
• Ability to apply human judgement to AI outputs in regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Translate approved content into channel-appropriate technical specifications and delivery briefs
• Coordinate end-to-end implementation with internal teams and external partners
• Oversee testing and quality cycles, manage proofs, test outputs, and logs
• Perform final QA checks to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved versions
• Maintain the communications inventory and auditable records
• Deliver accessible PDFs and coordinate web-accessibility testing
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline delivery
• Work within a multidisciplinary squad to serve different customer segments
• Build trusted relationships with content teams, agencies and suppliers
• Contribute to the Centre of Excellence by sharing knowledge and standards
• Report to the Communications Delivery Manager and maintain transparency across workstreams
