Job summary

OLIVER in Birmingham, United Kingdom, is hiring an Assistant Communications Delivery Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of customer communications across email, print, digital messaging and PDF channels. Qualifications

• Experience in a delivery-focused role in Operations, Change Management, Marketing, CRM or Digital.
• Strong channel knowledge across owned communications, including email, print and digital messaging.
• Excellent attention to detail: proofreading specifications, proofs and outputs.
• Technical aptitude to translate requirements into clear technical specs; familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
• Strong multi-project management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved content into channel-appropriate technical specifications and delivery briefs.
• Manage end-to-end implementation with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee testing, proofs, outputs, and audit trails; resolve issues promptly.
• Perform final QA checks to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved versions.
• Maintain an auditable communications inventory and deployment records.
• Deliver accessible PDFs and coordinate web accessibility testing.
• Identify process improvements to simplify delivery and reduce risk.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary squads for diverse customer segments.
• Build trusted relationships with content teams, agencies and suppliers.
• Share knowledge and uphold standards as part of the Centre of Excellence.
• Escalate risks and maintain visibility across active delivery workstreams.
