OLIVER, a part of The Brandtech Group, is seeking an Assistant Communications Delivery Manager in Birmingham. You will translate approved content into channel‑specific technical specifications for email, print, digital and PDF channels, and manage end‑to‑end delivery with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, timely communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a delivery‑focused role in Operations, Change Management, Marketing, CRM or Digital, where accurate and timely implementation is essential.
• Strong channel knowledge across owned communications, including email, print and digital messaging, with an understanding of the implementation processes and controls required to deliver them.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy before going live.
• Technical aptitude to understand communications‑related IT systems and data, including tools such as Jira and Confluence, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Strong project management and organisational skills to handle multiple delivery runways and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear communication and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders and maintain accountability across the delivery chain.
• Risk and governance awareness to follow controls and audit‑trail processes.
• Continuous improvement mindset to simplify delivery and reduce operational risk.
• Critical thinking to investigate issues and resolve them with practical solutions.
• Collaborative working across content, delivery, risk, technology and supplier teams.
• Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to communications delivery and operations.
• Experience building personal AI workflows to improve day‑to‑day efficiency.
• Agentic approach to planning and problem‑solving to break complex challenges into manageable steps.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs with human judgement in regulated environments.

Responsabilités

• Translate approved content into channel‑appropriate technical specifications and delivery briefs for email, print, digital messaging and PDF channels.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation, coordinating with internal teams and external third parties to deploy communications across platforms.
• Oversee testing and quality cycles: manage proofs, outputs and logs with an auditable decision trail.
• Carry out final quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved versions.
• Maintain the communications inventory with accurate records after live deployments.
• Deliver accessible PDFs and coordinate web‑accessibility testing.
• Identify and implement process improvements to simplify delivery workflows and reduce risk.
• Work within multidisciplinary squads to plan and deliver communications for different customer segments.
• Build trusted delivery relationships with content colleagues, authors, agencies and suppliers.
• Contribute to the Centre of Excellence by sharing knowledge and upholding high standards.
